Southwest Power Pool CMT - Alstom Grid

The Centralized Modeling Tool is a centralized repository of effective dated generation
and load asset, and transmission line configuration data for Southwest Power Pool.
SPP market participants enter and configure asset information using Alstom's e-terrasource™
tool. Data is then transferred to the centralized data base using a SOA
based CIM/XML file transfer process. Once inserted into the centralized model
database, asset and line data is available for consumption by downstream systems
such as the market system, and the settlements system. CaseIntel provided the design
and implementation of the Oracle based centralized model database, design and
implementation of the SOA based CIM/XML data transfer process, and development of
custom PL/SQL extensions to Alstom's e-terrasource™ product to meet specific SPP
business requirements.

Elbow Extraction Process for SnoPUD - Intergraph Corporation

Snohomish PUD employs the Intergraph G/Technology product for their GIS. Elbow
equipment data is not currently present in their GIS, but is required for integration of the
GIS with Snohomish PUD's implementation of the Alstom DMS (Distribution
Management System) product. CaseIntel designed and developed a custom Oracle
PL/SQL based extraction process to use GIS asset and distribution line conductor data
to infer the existence of elbow equipment in the SnoPUD electrical distribution system.
This dataset was then configured with G/Technology specific feature data for use not only for
the DMS, but within the GIS as well.
