CaseIntel worked with the Criminal Intelligence and Narcotics Units of a large municipal police department to develop an Oracle based Investigative management and intelligence data warehousing system.
The system was productized and is commercially available as the CaseIntel investigative data mining system. The product is based on Oracle 10gDB and 10gAS, Oracle Portal, Oracle Context, and Oracle Workflow, and utilizes Oracle Label Security, and Oracle Data Vault to provide unsurpassed security.
Additionally the system uses IBM's UIMA Unstructured Information Management framework, Oracle's Content Database and other network analysis tools to allow automatic document classification, clustering, entity extraction and semantic linking and analysis.
Work is currently underway to add JIEM interchange capabilities.
