CaseIntel, in conjunction with its services partner Macrosystems were chartered to develop team collaboration and rapid notification facilities for the Naval Facilities Command's Oracle 10gAS Portal.

To accomplish this, CaseIntel developed several innovative extensions to the Oracle Portal product, including:

• HTMLDB Portlets -- the integration of Oracle HTML DB into Oracle Portal as fully functional portlets.
• New Portal item types, including Tasks, Events, Announcements
• Secure real time alert broadcast system

Additionally, CaseIntel provided Oracle Portal Developer training to NAVFAC analysts and developers.
